"Second Tahoe in 2 years with a leaking roof. This one at a cost of $74,000. Mass amounts of water entered vehicle, through faulty sunroof drains, which is a known issue on service bulletins. The “water leak specialist” which is a third party company, supposedly replaced the line and they claim car is fixed. It is not, and is a flawed design. Imagine your 2023 Tahoe raining on the inside of your vehicle, saturating you electrical components, leather seats, and carpets. Cars are designed to handle ANY weather, and they are not designed to leak, yet my sunroof, that i never open, has water leaking into the entire roof and pillars of the vehicle. Mind you, same issue i had with my 21 Tahoe, that the dealership resold to another customer which will have many issues down the road.. The vehicle (23 tahoe) has an odor of mold and mildew .. However, there was no cleaning whatsoever done to the vehicle, which will lead to mold and there are spots of rust in the rear of vehicle, that has 3,000 miles on it.. Cause and effect, they “replaced” a line, yet carpets and parts of the vehicle that were saturated with water werent removed and cleaned to allow the vehicle to properly dry. Extremely Poor service to a longtime customer that keeps losing money thanks to Baierl Chevrolet. Shame on their entire staff, especially the General Manager, Adam, that hasn’t even reached out to me, after promising to “make some calls” to fix this problem. I will contact General Motors to seek a solution on my own, as this dealership is no help to their customers. My family has purchased vehicles from Baierl over the last 20 years, and we are ready to take our business elsewhere. *UPDATE - STILL NO RESPONSE FROM BAIERL AFTER 3 WEEKS. AND NOW MY BRAND NEW VEHICLE REAKS OF MOLD *UPDATE - 6/18/24 - Got a message from Adam, the GM on 5/21 that my vehicle is a priority and that he was going to make some calls and get the car taken care of. STILL NO RESPONSE AS OF 6/17/24. I have since been diagnosed with cancer, and can’t drive my $75,000 suv because Baierl did not clean the water from the 3 kinked drain tubes that leaked into my vehicle, and has now caused mold and mildew. Unacceptable that a General Manager would treat a customer like this when they’ve spent $140,000 in 3 years with them, after giving them the benefit of the doubt on the 2nd Tahoe that also leaked."
