"If I could give him 0/5 stars, I would. I truly believe Dr Sharma is a good guy, but the way his practice is run, from front to back, is terrible. I was a patient of Dr Sharmas from 2016 - 2021. Super quick to prescribe a pill for any ailment/ache/pain, but when I REALLY needed his office's help & expertise-- I was SOL. In 2021 I was in debilitating pain from a herniated disc that was pressing on a nerve root. Instead of helping me obtain an MRI & further help, his office let my request sit & get denied (multiple times). When I asked them to dispute, his office said 'do it yourself'. When I called insurance-- they told me Dr. Sharma's office had given them zero details on my medical history, so they were forced to deny. His office then dodged my calls, and even dodged my PT's calls about helping me obtain this MRI-- given that I was in an insane amount of pain & could not get further help without the scan. I eventually got tired of waiting, and I was forced to go out of pocket to get this MRI. When I requested a referral to see a GOOD spine surgeon-- he referred me to some quack that was a neuro surgeon. Completely careless every step of the way, the only help he gave was to prescribe pills. Thankfully, I ended up seeking out a spine surgeon through AHN who quite literally saved my life. AHN quickly got me approved through insurance for every scan, MRI, and procedure to follow. It was clear that Sharma's office had been reckless with how they approached my care. PLEASE don't go to Sharma's office, or any Heritage Valley office, really. Seek care through AHN or UPMC and save yourself the time, money, and pain."

"Dr. Sharma was very laid back. He listened to me intently and did not make me feel rushed. During my initial visit, he spent a lot of time with me reviewing my complicated medical history and answering all my questions. He did not talk down to me but made me feel very comfortable. He was very thorough and I am very confident in his ability and knowledge. He ordered some tests and his nurse actually called the same day with results! I a very glad I chose Dr. Sharma as my new primary care physician. I feel like my medical needs are in good hands."
