"DO NOT USE THIS HOME HEALTH PROVIDER! Six months post surgery and I am still dealing with their billing people. They can't get it straight even though all of the hospital and physician bills have been paid. Their nurses spend more time typing into their tablets than actually spending time with the patient. Literally 5 minutes of care and 25 minutes of typing. I had to be more flexible with their schedules than mine. The first visit was helpful and the following 4 weeks were a waste of time. That tells me its more about them making money than providing care."

"My grandmother passed from metastatic breast cancer. I called Amedysis to inquire about hospice services for her when she decided against treatment. Mandy Burkart called me back and was the kindest, down to earth, easy to talk to person. She didn’t make me feel like another “account” in their company. She genuinely wanted my grandmother to have the best care she could. Unfortunately, we did not go with Amedisys for her hospice needs. She passed June 11th. Today- two months after my first phone calls with Mandy she called me again to see how my grandmother was and how things were going. The compassion that she showed, even tho we were not even patients was absolutely astounding. If the rest of this company is half as compassionate as Mandy- you won’t find a better hospice agency."

"Company is a joke. Avoid at all costs. Incompetent, unreliable, disastrous. At least one nurse is flat out abusive and shouldn’t be practicing. Steve Culp would do better working where he didn’t have to interact with people. He’s rude, abusive, and does not care at all about your loved one or your family. He makes it clear on arrival. Don’t put your loved ones through this companies care. I can’t stress how poor the communication is at this company and how incompetent they are (with the exception of 3 people)."
