Our founder, Andrew, has a rich background in the flooring industry. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, he grew up in Beaver Falls, PA, and has dedicated over twenty-seven years to mastering the trade. Andrew’s journey began by helping his brother start a successful sanding and installation company, where he gained hands-on experience. He further honed his skills under the guidance of a traditionally trained Finnish hardwood floor expert, specializing in water-based finishes long before they became popular in the U.S.
Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University and has chosen to stay in Beaver County to raise his family. He lives in Chippewa with his wife Jacquelyn, their three children, and three dogs. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys reading, spending time with his family, and working on wood projects, many of which are available for sale on our website.

"We had a hardwood guy confirmed, then at the last minute he cancelled on us. Luckily we were referred to Haven Hardwood and we couldn’t be happier with results, wish we had worked with him originally. You can see from photos we had an old fireplace which we needed new wood for so he wove that in, it’s impossible to tell he did such a great job. The rest of the living room had an 80s carpet on it. He was able to sand it all down and stain to perfection. We had multiple shades of wood in different rooms and now it all comes together in one stain. Our house is from 1920s so all of this wood is original. He gave us lots of options and talked us through the process. He was so professional, we’ve had a lot of work done since we moved in and he’s been by far the best contractor! Highly recommend!!"
"We were so glad we had Andrew and his team work on our floors. We had a difficult parquet floor that we thought we had to remove but Andrew encouraged us to simply refinish it. He even had to do a difficult patch to cover an old furnace vent. The patch is invisible and the floor finish was excellent. His team was conscientious, clean and careful. We would highly recommend his company to anyone thinking about a new install, or an with old floor that needs a refresh. Everyone that sees our new kitchen comments on the floor asking if we replaced it. The old oak looks beautiful and adds character to our remodel that you couldn't get in new wood.
