"The couple of times I've been here it was a hurried examination. One of the prescribed medications on my first visit had a side effect of blurring my vision. This has been replaced by a different med that hasn't caused me any problems. I'm improving but I miss the relatively relaxed atmosphere of Icecreamwalla where I felt I was listened to as well as talked to."

"Tired of having weird experiences with this subpar cosmetics company. My husband and I have been going here since May 2022 receiving (mostly) Botox treatments. Collectively we’ve given Allskin probably $5-$6K since and consistently had very weird experiences tied back to their management style. They have some gross hierarchy where the staff upstairs is segregated from the lower level staff (literally). Upstairs the staff is stand offish, curt, and will persistently try to upsell you additional services. Downstairs the staff is friendly, nice, and often overwhelmed. Frequently we’ve had to wait long periods of time for our treatments because the staff is booked back to back with no breaks. In any case, downstairs we’ve always received the most attentive and kind care from first Ghazel and now Miriam, which is why we continue to come back despite the scheduling issues and persistent lack of calendar flexibility. I grind my teeth and having recently cracked a tooth and needing a crown, I decided after much research to get Masseter’s tox to solve the issue. I spoke to our regular AllSkin stsff (downstairs) multiple times about how much would be suggested, where the treatment would be applied, etc. I was told that only one physician was available to do masseter’s tox and scheduled the appointment for 3 MONTHS later with Dr. Dunn. When the appointment finally came, I felt rushed when describing my needs and was surprised to hear that I would need so many units for the first treatment (25+) but was told this was the standard. Within the first 24-48 hours I felt relief in my jaw tension but I quickly started to notice my face was COMPLETELY FROZEN from my smile to under my eyes. I could not smile for 3 months. Shortly after realizing the treatment went poorly I called the office and the receptionist (upstairs) informed me that I was not permitted to speak to Dr. Dunn over the phone but that I needed to make an appointment. Mind you I had a follow up masseter’s appointment on the calendar but it was months before my wedding and my husband said “we can’t risk you not being able to smile in our wedding pictures” so I decided to cancel. Having a separate Botox appointment upcoming I told the (downstairs) staff what had happened and immediately the vibe was EEK from the nurses prepping me for my treatment. They implied that upstairs is separate from downstairs and to talk to the other staff. So I went upstairs after my treatment and Dr. Dunn was out of office. So next time I asked again and was sent to a manager who I’ve never seen before named Gibran who’s de-escalation tactics are to just talk in circles repeating what you say without any solutions until you give up and run for the door. Months later (my masseter’s treatment was in November and it is now June) I’m finally receiving feedback that there is “no substantial evidence” that I received a botched treatment. So for your viewing pleasure - the evidence. Before (October/halloween), and clearly after (November/Christmas) botched masseter’s Botox."
"I happened to stumble upon AllSkin and Dr. Annie, a few months ago. It seems, I do that a lot. An article was written about me entitled, "Accidentally With Purpose." Well, I am very glad it happened with Annie, too. Annie is not only good at what she does, but she is on time, she explains what she is doing, she is straightforward, and kind. I have met with a few dermatologists in the Bay Area who were not only rude, well over an hour late, rude to my referrals, which is a reflection on me, as well as arrogant. (Do they not realize many of their own clients also attended excellent universities!) Further, in Beverly Hills I have always had exceptional service similar to that of Dr. Annie. You might think the opposite of the Bay Area and Beverly Hills, but I've tried many over the past 10 years and can say this with conviction and experience. As I go between LA and the Bay Area I really wanted to find someone like Dr Annie up North as my primary residence is in the East Bay where I practice real estate (for over 30 years). Thank you Dr Song, I trust you; and you are kind, thoughtful and know what you are doing! And did I include, funny? You are very funny, too. Thank you so much! "Had my first visit with Dr. Dunn today. I truly appreciate her sincerity and patience. She explains what she can do for me, listen to my needs and gave me options. She looked at me when talking to me. She's very pleasant and knowledgeable. So thankful my primary doc referred her to me. Her team in the office were very nice too. They all made my appt good.
