"I live directly across from the park and it is wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves every day of the week. Fisherman often stay way after sunset, lovers walk hand in hand and sit close to one another on the park benches, people walking their pets, joggers getting their morning workout, artists and photographers recording the scenes; I could go on and on. My wife and I love watching others enjoying themselves as we do; the lake at sunrise, the fireflies in July and fireworks on the 4th, music from the Sunset Grill wafting across the water plus the public boat launch for our kayaks and watching the grandkids playing at the beach. We are truly blessed to be able to actually live in such a "dream-come- true" location and it is wonderful to see so many others enjoying everything the park and lake have to offer as we do. The James Hagerty Memorial Park and Edinboro Lake are the jewels in Edinboro's crown! The "Boro" and Lake Association are doing a fantastic job maintaining these great public venues! We wouldn't want to live anywhere else!"
