"We really enjoyed our dinner tonight at Albero Verde, which I found out means Green Tree in Italian. That makes sense as the restaurant is located in Greentree. We used to frequent the previous restaurant in this spot (Ilburloni) and we have been missing that place since they closed. The new Albero Verde did not disappoint. We met the owner, Anthony Pupo, who greeted us at our table. He is a super nice guy who seems to be doing all the right things. He has an impressive resume as a chef. We started off sharing two appetizers, Sausage Beans and Greens, along with a wedge salad. My first time trying a Scotch Egg which came with the salad and am now a big fan. Both were fabulous. You have to love the BYOB aspect of this place which we took advantage of with 2 nice bottles of red wine from the FWGS store up the street. We then tried 2 meals, the Halibut and the Lamb. Both of us preferred the fish but the Lamb was nicely prepared as well. We are super happy to have a very quality restaurant back in this location. By the way, a little unknown secret is this place has a great view of sunsets and they do have outdoor seating. I highly reccomend you try Albero Verde. We will be regular customers for sure. "We still lament the passing of Il Berloni restaurant in Scott Town Center. But Albero Verde is has taken over that location and, we are happy to report, it's a worthy successor. Our meal was delish - I had Linguini Bolognese and my wife had Curligiones (Sardinian ravioli, described as "ravioli's chubby cousin"). It's a BYOB, and the staff/owners are friendly and provide great service. If you liked Il Berloni, or just fine dining, you owe it to yourself to give Albero Verde a try!"
