Mitchell's Ocean Club

"My wife and I have had dinner here on 2 different occasions. I have attached pictures from both occasions. Once for Valentine's Day and this most recent visit for her birthday. The restaurant decor is very high-end and elegant. On Valentine's Day there was piano player to set the tone, and that was a really nice touch. The food has always been magnificent. The smoked Gouda Tater Tots are the perfect appetizer. The complimentary bread and butter are great! My wife is obsessed with their Waygu, she hasn't stopped talking about it since we have left. She said it was very flavorful and that it melts in your mouth! I really enjoy the lobster here! The first time I visited, I had lobster linguine and that was great. On this most recent visit I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and it's by far the best Lobster Mac that I have had. This is the first place I have been to that seasons the lobster that's in the Mac and Cheese. It was seasoned well, tender, and the Mac and cheese itself was great. Finally for dessert, my wife says the Cheesecake is excellent, only second to the cheesecake factory! I have had the carrot cake for dessert with each visit and I have to say that it's tied with the best carrot cake that I have ever had, and that's the carrot cake from J Alexander's. The carrot cake is very rich in flavor and in texture. Ocean Club is a great restaurant for date nights and celebrations. If you ask my wife it's the best place to get a steak! I highly recommend this restaurant, and any of their Steak or Lobster options. Also, don't forget to get the carrot cake for dessert. ;)"

"I threw a surprise birthday dinner for my boyfriend on June 7, 2024 and everything was amazing. First off, my party was of 6 people total. My boyfriend and I arrived first, our 2 friends were about 40 minutes late and his other two friends arrived later in the evening. Our reservation was for 8:30pm and even though majority of the party was late, our waitress Alexandria I think and she was phenomenal! We sat in a private room where other people were coincidentally celebrating their birthday as well. She knew everything about the menu, helped me find the best sushi for everyone’s first time trying it, gave us great selections for drinks, and even provided me with a hot towel when I spilled some of my drink on myself. Majority of us got the pork chop with creamy mashed potatoes which was perfectly cooked, and burnt on the sides which was my favorite. She was so nice and was very patient while my guests were late and took years to order since some haven’t seen each other in a while. She also gave a free dessert which was the butter cake to my boyfriend that I ate lol even though we already brought a cake. It was delicious. Overall, myself, my boyfriend and all our guests had an amazing time dining here, and rate it a 10000/10. We still to this day plan on going back because everything was so good. We will all definitely return!! My boyfriend said it was the best birthday he’s ever had. Thank you so much Alexandria! Your service was beyond amazing. :) P.S. The drinks are delicious but taste like juice so they will definitely sneak on you. ;)"

"It's Mother's Day Weekend and wanted to celebrate a great meal and what better way to do that than by treating my wife, mom, and mother-in-law to Mitchell's Ocean Club Booked reservations weeks in advance due to the holiday and glad I did. The place was packed and lively which added to the vibe. We were seated pretty much as soon as we arrived, due to the reservations Once seated we were offered bread and drinks orders. Opted to go with the Smoked Old Fashioned with an Angel's Envy Rye and it did not miss, so much my wife and I ordered two rounds Once drinks were ordered we had the Point Judas Calamari which was zesty due to the sweet chili sauce on top of it, but the slaw mix made this an easy appetizer to kick things off. No less than 25ish minutes later our meals all arrived and let me tell you the food across the board was a homerun! I opted for the Chilean Seabass with an additional 4oz Wagyu Steak on the side that allowed me to build my own surf-n-turf! Those protein mixed with, broccolini and a potato puree were the perfect balance for any foodie! My wife had the Sea Scallops with Parmesan risotto, English peas and a citrus vinaigrette that she just raved about because of the well balanced flavors My mom had an off menu Ginger Salmon which is from the old menu, IYKYK, not like the new salmon, but based on what she says, it's the best salmon she ever had My mother-in-law went with Blackened Snapper with a tender inside and crisp skin outside. The pairing of corn spoon bread, Swiss chard, and corn emulsion created quite the melody for any pallet While each dish had sides, we couldn't pass up on the jalapeno au gratin potatoes or the black truffle mac-n-cheese which we had no issue devouring After our meals, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy some creme brulee with caramelized sugar with blueberry and strawberry toppings. After such a large meal as this, you have to top it off with a smooth French Espresso shot sipping it with the pinky in the air!! Overall, this was a great mic drop Mother's Day Dinner (see photos) that was more than a meal...rather an experience!!! Hats off to the service team, Tim did a fine job and we'll be back!"

"We had the absolute BEST experience at Ocean Club today! Everyone was incredible and we cannot thank John, Chef Matt, and Watson enough for making this day so special for my little sister. We always enjoy ourselves at Ocean Club, but this time was extra special. Huge thank you to the entire staff!"
