Reviews of VisitErie
"Great job VisitErie! Come to Erie and see!!! PROS: There is a lot that goes on all year round here. FOOD IS AMAZING IN ERIE!!! Fantastic eats at most local places. I prefer to eat locally owned over big chain eateries. There are all types of events, theatrical shows, amusement parks, churches, and sporting venues. GREEKFEST TOO!!! It's a summer fun town. CONS: Biggest drawback is the unpredictable weather. Rains as much here as it did in Seattle. Only difference is Seattle has 2 more sunny days a year on average and no snow. lol"
"Erie is a great city to visit with great restaurants, attractions, breweries and shopping. VisitErie is great a promoting and marketing our city as a vacation destination."
"VisitErie is a great organization devoted to the promotion of Erie's tourism industry. Erie has great restaurants, shopping, attractions and hotels, I'm proud to call it my home. The downtown is going through a revitalization and the whole city is adding more and more cool things each year."
"Erie needs to be spending more money on marketing our tourism. It's an amazing place to live, work, play & visit! We need to show off our hidden gems a bit more! Are we talking about what kayaking in the lagoons at Presque Isle looks like (and costs)?! How about the fact that you are 20 minutes from great skiing, or that there are like 100+ amazing golf courses?! Erie should be spending 1mil+ annually to tell everyone about our amazing little corner of the world, and VisitErie is the place that needs the funds!"
