Reviews
"I had a colonoscopy performed by Dr Bellicini at the south hills endoscopy center. He was very professional and compassionate. The staff were very competent, kind and attentive. I had a follow up call the next day from his office to see how I was doing post procedure. Could not ask for a better experience."
"Mid 2017 Colonoscopy: ----------------------- Filled out extensive questionnaire, returned to office. N.A .from office called me back to absolutely confirm answers and advise on recommended prep. This was all handledquite profesasionally by different members of the office staff. Result: Removed several polyps, sent for biopsy Biopsy Results received 2 weeks later (benign) ---------------- Hemorrhoid Banding: I can't think of too many more compromising/embarrassing positions you can willingly put yourself in than having a Dr. banding your hemorrhoids. Love Dr. Bellicini's bedside manner. He diffuses your tension by acting like it's no big deal, discussing whatever it is you want to chat about while he works. And it IS no big deal. Get over the embarrassmet factor and get it done. Dr. Bellicini is professional at all times, and a "normal guy" when he needs to be on top of that. ---------------- The reviews prior to mine appear to have been authored by people who are uncomfortable remaining actively involved in their own care. All test results are screened upon arival at the doctor's office. Bad news gets reviewed first and passed on first. OK results go in a queue to be officially reviewed by the Dr. Acting as though you are the ONLY PATIENT is unrealistic. Unless you want to be the patient in the O.R. while he's reviewing someone else's test records at the same time, I sugguest you adjust your expectations closer to reality. Not everyone's procedure comes out the way we all want it to. Is that necessarily the Dr.'s fault? You came to see the doctor with pre-existing issues; the probability exists that any procedure performed may not be able fully address the pre-existing concern. Aditionally, some conditions worsen with time, so don't unilaterally blame the Dr. for issues that worsen on their own."
"My tests were ordered and performed over 3 weeks ago. The Dr has not called with results and I have now spoken with his Medical Assistant on 3 separate occasions to which she stated the Dr has not looked at the results yet and she would have him get back to me. Incredibly disappointed in the care I have gotten here and I will be going elsewhere for future testing. I advise you to look elsewhere if you are looking for professionalism and promptness."
