"Dr. Pollack is the greatest neurosurgeon in my opinion, he is professional and his wisdom is astounding. He also genuinely cares about his patients. He performed atleast 6 brain surgeries on my daughter at a very young age she is shunted and had chiari malformation, decompressed 2 times, syrinx on spinal cord. Various shunt related surgeries due to issues with the shunt itself and how her body responded to it. I am so grateful that he did all that he could to try and help my daughter, today she is a healthy thriving 9 year old who visits for checkups with neuro every 3 years. For the rest of my life I will never forget how he didn’t give up on her. He is the definition of a compassionate doctor."
"Dr. Pollack saved my son's life when he was 7 months old. I was told my son would not live and if he did would not walk. Dr. Pollack did surgery and helped me out with different types of therapist."
"Dr. Ian Pollack, in my opinion, is one of the best neurosurgeons. He was part of a team who helped correct our son's metopic craniosynostosis. His manner was always kind and professional. He took time to sit and listen as we expressed various concerns. Prior to the surgery we felt very confident in leaving our son in his care and the whole process went smoothly. We can not say enough how grateful we are for the professional expertise we saw and experienced with Dr. Pollack, his team and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh UPMC. A big 5 star rating all around !!!"
