"Temple endocrinology has the worst patient experience. The last time I had an appointment with them, it took over an hour to see the doctor. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare and the person scheduling over the phone told me she couldn’t ’find my file’ and wanted my social security number. At my most recent appointment, the nurse said she couldn’t see me because I was 2 mins late. How does this behavior not extend to your patient care?"
"I visited the Endocrinology department August 22, 2022. My follow up visit as per Dr. Attah would now be November 2022 and their scheduling department would call to do so. It’s September 13, 2022 and I’m still waiting on someone who works at Temple to call in the schedule for my next follow up. This is the worst I’ve ever had to experience when it come to patient services. Staff act as though you’re using their insurance and you’re not important. What they fail to realize, if patients refuse to use Temple facilities, that means management will revamp. No job, no salary."
"Doctors and nurses do not return calls to follow up on test results. 3 weeks and waiting—even elevated this to a supervisor and still no call. What kind of oath did these physicians take?????"
"I’m going to another endocrinologist. She called me back after over a month from my abnormal results and had terrible bedside manner. She spent most of the conversation to tell me she did nothing wrong. Would not explain what the newly diagnosis was. I said going forward if you can’t get in touch with someone with an abnormal result, that a second attempt should be made or a letter. She said then I’ll let my office know that you want letters from now on. She was unbelievable and had an attitude."
"The staff here are very rude. Many times while on the phone they will talk to their co worker instead of listening to what you are saying. Also Dr. Rao is very slow at getting back and has given me the wrong test strips perscriptions a few times. He also has canceled my appointment with him a couple of times to go on vacation. When you call to reschedule an appointment it usually takes 3 months to get another appointment."
