The Valley

"As a clinician finding a positive environment with people that care is very difficult. The Valley has been amazing and accommodating since prior to admission. Steve was accessible and reached out to the client to walk them through the process and offered support both within working hours and after working hours. He explained the program and what it has to offer which exceeds others by far ! His experience in recovery , as well as with the facility was remarkable. His compassion for the SUD community shown throughout the whole process making it less stressful for the client. Vanessa and the staff worked hard, even staying late to ensure that the client was met even after admissions was closed for the day giving them a warm welcome to the facility. They provided the client with necessary items knowing that they had no financial means to supply them for themselves. They were supportive and accessible. I cannot brag enough having been in the community for awhile working with countless facilities who have done bare minimum. To work with a facility who not only went above and beyond, but also took the time to speak with myself, but also probation, the client, and the whole treatment team was truly incredible. It was this client’s first time taking the steps in his recovery and I felt confident in this placement. To those seeking care and reading the reviews, change is scary and recovery is not easy but is possible. If you are looking for a team that will work along side you, this facility is for you."

"My experience at the Valley was absolutely amazing. The valley staff welcomed me with open arms and was very supportive during those fragile first 30 days. The staff was well trained, activities were always sober related and the facility would always make accommodations for each individual client. What people don’t realize but need to appreciate is we’re there to change our lives and the staff is there to help. Not everyone there is going for that reason alone so sometimes everyone has to put up with a little bit of nonsense here or there. What matters most is how you handle your time there and use those tools they are trying to give you to make a better future for yourself. Not only does the valley have to be accountable for your well being but remember the 30 other family and friends supporting you on the outside. Praying the Valley will save your life and give you another chance at being the best you can be. That is a tall order to fill but the valley puts in just as much as you put in if not more. That is why I know I am 90 days sober tomorrow 6/11/2024. "Coming to The Valley saved my life ! By far the BEST decision I have ever made! I am 7 months clean and sober tomorrow, and couldn't imagine accomplishing this without The Valley. This place is full of great people.... techs, counselors, coordinators. People who are now friends/family to me. The perfect place to lay the foundation for a successful sober journey. "4 months of sobriety and a birthday are quickly approaching and I would not have made it to either of them without the help of The Valley. My daughter saved my life when she dropped me off there for treatment, but The Valley Staff taught me how to live again and gave me the tools to navigate life. At The Valley I was safe, I was respected, I was cared for but I was held accountable, I was educated, I was challenged and I was reminded I was worthy to be loved. And I was loved till I learned to love myself. The staff said they would always be there for me and they were, they still are.
