Reviews
"Staff, super kind! Doctor himself, very dismissive & extremely rude. I wish I would've read reviews prior to wasting my time going. Best believe there are other and more suitable doctors who WILL take the time out to listen and will NOT consistently interrupt you. I've never left an office feeling more judged than here. Seek alternatives & if you're referred here and decide to go through...best of luck! If I could leave a half star rating I would...& even that is generous. Being told that he did NOT want to hear the history of my sleeping troubles as well as health reasons that DO contribute to sleeping habits & "focus on the now" was a huge red flag."
"Experience was very poor. We will be changing doctors if at all possible. The only thing the doctor did was ask my husband about his weight, tell him to lose weight and then leave the room. We both understand that weight is connected to sleep apnea. But, just hounding someone about it is not going to help them lose it. If you're going to mention it give real ideas on how to manage it rather than having a sarcastic smile on your face and nearly berating your patient. Also how about taking your time with patients rather than spending a total of three minutes so you can charge the insurance. Bedside manner is absolutely terrible. Some people should not ever be doctors. This man has no sense of empathy for patients. I recommend finding any other doctor. I'm only giving one star because it won't let me give none."
"The doctor would ask questions and not listen to my answers. He was rude. This visit was a total waste of my time."
"The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! They're soooo nice! The facilities are new and pleasant. So far, so good, right? That's what I thought until I met the doctor. Dr. Al'asadi needs an attitude readjustment. He is condescending, patronizing, and pedantic. I've been on Xyrem for well over 5 years. My original doctor moved to Myrtle Beach and I was forced to find another. From the beginning, Dr. Al'asadi was rude, confrontational, and accusatory. At one point, instead of continuing with telling him about myself, I just stopped talking to see where he would lead the conversation. After a long silence, Dr. Al'asadi started talking. He didn't even ask at all about my disease until the very end. He just laid out what was going to happen next like I'm sure he has countless times. Dr. Al'asadi wanted to start over--to do another sleep test, try out different sleep apnea treatments, and try out different narcolepsy treatments. I had already been through all of that before. It takes YEARS. Meanwhile, I had a treatment that been working FOR YEARS. When I communicated that, Dr. Al'asadi said that he didn't know any of the other doctors that I had been to and this was just the way it was going to work. He simultaneously implied that maybe I was just another drug addict. Needless to say, I'll never go back to that man and I encourage everyone to avoid him if you have a choice."
