"I dont like to leave negative reviews however, I hope I will save someone else's time by leaving this review. This office as a whole is horrible. The staff is rude. I wait on hold for a minimum of 10 mins every time I call just to get to a receptionist. Dr. Young is not professional and seems like she's always in a rush to get you out of the room. NOT TO MENTION, Dr. Young failed to communicate to the insurance and didn't send the right paper work to our insurance, which resulted in a rejection for a treatment we really need. Don't waste your time here."
"I went with a friend of mine to see Dr Young as his advocate, because he is having trouble verbalizing due to aphasia. I brought a bullet point list from a group of speech pathologist that work with this patient so that Dr. Young could review it. She took all of two seconds to look at it tossed it to the side. I also mentioned that I would also like to discuss the decline I have seen personally with my friend, which she never addressed. She stated that she was going to order a pet scan for the third time, which is difficult to get covered by insurance, and then opened the door to rush us to check out. After realizing the appointment was over, I went to look for her because I had not had all of our questions answered in regard to his treatment plan. She was entering into another patient room. I tried to ask a quick question and she rudely told me that I am dealing with another client and abruptly closed the door. I would certainly not recommend this physician to anyone as she does not appear to have the best interests of her patients!"
"My father was a patient of Dr. Young’s for a brief period of time over a year ago. Our family still recounts how little she did for him and how dismissive of his symptoms she was. We eventually sought out a second opinion but lost an entire year of treatment because of her of lack competence and dereliction of duty."
"I was referred by another doctor to see Dr Young. I called yesterday was on hold for 20 minutes, someone picked up then hung up. I called back again and the amount of people in the waiting queue was ridiculous. I called back today the wait time was only 2 minutes. The receptionist picked up, stated Dr. Young was booking in November. Asked if I could wait that long and said, "there are other doctors." As if she was trying to suggest I see another doctor but not tell me directly too. Then when I told her, "if I have no choice but to wait for doctor Young then I will. Then I was placed on hold. Ladies and gentleman! Talk about rude receptionist in a unprofessional medical environment. If you're the doctor or the office manager reading this, I would have a meeting with your staff and make investments in better options to speaking to medical staff and answering calls. I worked in the medical field for 10 years! Not a professional office at all! This opinion was based off of just one phone call."
"Majority of the front office staff are extremely rude. I work in medical and the way they behave is not acceptable anywhere I have worked. I like Dr. Young, but considering switching due to the hour long waits after my appointment time and 30 minutes plus to get someone on the phone. You would think they would create a new system that works better for their patients but they have not yet."
