"The best doctor with the best staff. Thank you so much to the front desk ladies. I always truly appreciate each and every one of you for always helping my father all the time. Thank you all ❤️❤️"
"Listen. Here's the deal with the other reviews. Every single person from the doctors to assistants to office staff are very direct and to the point here. Some people need their doctor to hold their hand and walk them through every little thing. That's ok but if that's you then you might want to skip this practice. I've never had issues asking questions or getting answers but I also appreciate the focus and directness of the people here. My sugar is controlled and I'm on the right medicines and doses because the doctors here are good, very good, and they know what they're doing. Just understand the focus and intensity level if you're considering treatment here and decide if you need something different. Personally , I am very satisfied with the care I received."
"Dear Dr. Farah, I hope this message finds you well. I want to start by saying that I am a PA-C myself (as you know) and have been a patient of yours since I was 18 years old. I have also seen Dr. Al-Mushref and have always been happy to be your patient. I trust your care and consider both of you to be excellent physicians. I’ve been with you for almost 10 years for this reason. Unfortunately, due to a lack of insurance, I have not been able to come in as regularly as I would like. However, this was never an issue before. Today, I made an appointment and requested a refill on some of my medications until I can be seen. Regrettably, I had a very unpleasant experience with the medical assistant, Jamira. She was incredibly rude, yelled at me, refused to ask for the refill on my behalf, and told me to go to the hospital to get my refills. My next appointment is at the end of August, and the earliest I can see you is in September. As you know, I need a specialist to get my medicine and libre, and Jamira, lacking knowledge of insurance and medicine, did not seem to understand this. Dr. Farah, if you are reading this, I want to express my concern that Jamira’s behavior will drive your patients away. I used to be a medical assistant, so I understand the challenges of the role, but common respect and willingness to help are crucial. Her refusal to even ask, and also yell at me, for a refill was shocking. As you know, the goal is hospital readmission prevention. Warm regards, Maria"
"This doctor should be reported to the health committee……. When I got admitted at Beaumont, they assigned me this doctor. He diagnosed me with thyroid disease. He didn’t catch the medication. He was giving me wasn’t working because I also needed part two of the medicine part one they call it T4 and part two, but I was supposed to get with T3 at a very small dose, he didn’t prescribe that it took Beaumont till a month later to find out that I needed the T3 medicine from another thyroid disease doctor. The one star should be -10 stars. I’m not exaggerating this. And he didn’t tell me that I had Hashimoto till the second thyroid disease doctor told me that which was a month later"
"I was a little hesitant about going here when I had read the negative reviews, but honestly, I had a great experience here. I know there were a few times interacting with the receptionist during the scheduling beforehand that was frustrating, and they can come off as blunt, but I know stress happens and that can come off badly. I had no other issues with anyone else. The nurse was amazing and so friendly. I saw Dr. Mazen Al Mushref, and I felt welcomed. He helped me understand a lot, answered my questions, and was kind. I am definitely feeling calm and satisfied with my care here. Even my mom, who came with me, felt great about it."
