"Roughly 6 weeks ago, my mom's insurance informed us of a change in coverage and Harmony Cares would no longer be covered. Over the course of the past 6 weeks, I have received not less than 15 different explanations/responses from Harmony Cares and their physicians - and that's after waiting 3 to 5 days every single call for a return phone call. Their professionalism is less-than-zero, and it's because they know they have a near monopoly on home healthcare options for seniors and disabled persons living at home. Their greed is why they are no longer part of the insurance's network, and their lack of care for their patients is why achieving a resolution has been entirely impossible. If you have an option, do *NOT* choose Harmony Cares for your loved one's medical needs."
"VPA has truly been there in time of need for my dear mother. After one visit from Dr. Varner my mother received emergency xrays, friendly nurse care, prompt prescription needs, and routine home visits. Billing has been my only issue, they need an update. The web portal doesn't allow you to pay online, which is very inconvenient for us. Not sure how well their services would be for someone without an advocate/caregiver to assist. So far, so decent."
"Husband tried to use and they were very unorganized and uncaring. He had 4 major surgeries (knee replacement, abdominal, major back surgery and leg amputation). He's diabetic, with DMD,asthma and Parkinson. I too am disabled and we have no one else to help. Never explained when we signed up how they do things. We get a call saying they will be here next day. I called and explained situation. They resescheduled for next day. I had cluster migraine and tried to explain. Needed afternoon. At this point they said they couldn't schedule appointments. I told them we could try to keep appointment. Next morning Dr. Verner calls at 8:30 and tells me that after 3 cancels we will be kicked out. When I tried to list complaints was hung up on 2x. Totally uncaring."
"The only good thing about visiting physicians are their doctors come to the clients home, and of course my mom's PRN Terri Andrews she is awesome. I leave messages never receive a call back, and no one is ever available to speak with. I call at least 5 days in advance for prescriptions to be filled they are never sent to the pharmacy on time!!! Dealing with VP is a big headache not to mention they are rude!!!"
"Dr. Varner from VP has been coming to my home to take care of my Dad for at least 3 years. I love them. They do bloodwork, and full care. Great communication as well. I would recommend them highly if you are a home-bound patient or have a friend/family member that cant leave to get to a doctor's office."
