"Really nice museum, packed with artifacts, pictures and stories about local history. Very eclectic, with everything from fossils to war uniforms. Admission is free, but donations welcomed. Take quarters to pay for street parking. The staff is really friendly, willing to answer any questions or show you around. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop on the way out."
"Really enjoyed it! The curator gave me a personal tour and we exchanged stories. Were from florida. Very nice people here. I really learned a lot !"
"Lots of info and items about a lot of the Harrison County area. Ample meter parking on the street. Bring quarters."
"Students from my school enjoyed ourselves during our visit. The permanent displays were perfect and they matched our current teaching curiculm back home in Virginia. I understand many teachers voluntarily voluntarily helped to create this attractive destination in your city. If there's a place that gives grants and awards let me know I would submit a grant application on your behalf. The lovely park next door was an idea spot to take in our packed meals. Prior to our visit we took the walking tour of downtown Clarksburg with a very helpful gentleman who was dressed in a blue caped period costume outfit He was fantastic in his knowledge and the crossing guard stayed in every crosswalk intersection making us feel extremely safe in your hometown. Teachers Rule!"
