"I called for an appointment because I had concerns about some issue that popped up. I got a PA. She was young and the whole time I was explaining my symptoms and waiting for answers, all I got was.. UM... Um...Um.. every other sentence. Then asked me if I wanted her to examine. That was the reason I was there. She got the girl at the front desk to be in the room with her. ( I get it, they need someone in the room, but I thought it had to be another medical person, not just the girl at the front desk.) Then barely looking said I have skin tags. Needless to say, I was not satisfied with that since, I have had skin tags in the past and they did not cause pain or any of the issues I am having and also getting a second opinion, especially since they have multiplied rather quickly since the appt. I would not recommend the PA if you needed them to be looking into something that could be serious. Good Luck."

"I really appreciate the quality of care I received here from PA Kristen M Zon. She listens attentively to her patients and her detailed notes reflect such. I did not feel rushed and felt she was willing to answer any questions I may have had. Kristen reviewed my faxed images prior to the appointment and took the time to explain her medical opinions/advice based on said images. I am now on track to get a colonoscopy to look further into my symptoms and must say that was my intent all along. Lastly, the front desk staff were friendly and processed everything in a timely manner. I drove 4 hours to receive their care and I am glad I did so. Thank you Northern Gastro UPMC."
