"Horrible people. Dr. Rao And everybody else in that office has an attitude that cannot be explained. I would say they Feel entitled, or they are better than anybody else. Anything I mentioned or suggested as the patient was denied or they tried to talk me out . Nobody there seem to listen to what I had to say, and my treatment as well as blood sugars and diabetes in general got worse. Please do not go to this doctor. There are a lot of other Real Diabetes doctors that are actually there to treat the patient. Having Dr. Rau, as my practitioner was one of the worst doctor experiences I’ve had in my life, and granted I’ve had over 13 surgeries."
"She did not read pcp chart, was rude to my daughter who was the patient and she bad mouthed our pcp. Avoid her!"
"I wasn't able to meet my appt today b/c I wasn't able to download the software needed for the video appt. I left the office a message, I was called back and was told the doctor doesn't want to be my doctor, and for me to contact my primary care doctor moving forward for my diabetic needs. how nice, it's a pandemic going on."
"I'm a type 1 diabetic and found Dr. Rao through my insurance 8 years ago. I've been diabetic for 26 years now and have seen my share of endocrinologists. Dr. Rao is one of my favorites. She works with me to treat the condition -- seeking my thoughts and experiences living WITH the disease combined with her medical expertise. She's timely and professional with appointments and her staff is great with out-of-office correspondence."
"Terrible--went to her with high blood pressure, heart rate issues, extreme fatigue--cardiologist thought it was an endocrine disorder. Dr. Rao missed low T3, thyroiditis & hashimotos (dx by another doctor more up to date on current levels possibly)--plus was hospitalized for low potassium, prior to this appointment which is why I made it--being worked up for Conns syndrome too. She told me ALL I HAD WAS VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY, also missed my apparent ABNORMAL IRON PANEL--also dx with hereditary iron overload--if I wouldn't have seeked a second opinion, I am scared for what would've happened. She spent about 4 minutes with me & didn't call about my labs, I got an E-MAIL. Worst experience ever (seriously) this is my first review ever! Be your own advocate!"
