Excel Dental (Dentist) - Wexford

"I just had to take time to write a review for the Wexford office. My daughter came here after she had horrible experiences with other dentists in the Wexford area and had an emergency. They treated her great and even gave her laughing gas (at her request) because she was SO NERVOUS. (she's 26) and refused to go even get her teeth cleaned after her bad experiences. My normal dentist was 'booked' for months. So when I cracked not one, but TWO, crowns within two weeks, i went here based on her great experience. I was SO HESITANT too because of my bad experiences in the past. But i have to say: Dr Neha Sharma to the rescue! Dr Sharma was just EXCELLENT. And i will say: its some of the little things they do that make ALL the difference. 1. They put a pillow behind your neck. Ok, this SOUNDS ridiculous but no other dentist EVER did this for me and it helped so much. 2. The novacaine. (did i spell that right?). Anyway, expertly placed with some numbing cream first. Went it with no problem and numbed me up great. 3. The putty. When she started to drill me the water sprayed up on my tooth above and i have receeding gums. And MAN, did it annoy. To the point where i didn't know if I could go on. I asked if there was a way to put a 'cover' over my teeth above. Dr Sharma said 'oh, i can use 'the putty.' THE PUTTY? No other dentist EVER suggest any putty. And man, was it a lifesaver for me. I was in the chair awhile to get the broken crown cut off. And the putty made all the difference. 4. The machine they use to take a picture for the crown makers. Instead of the full mouth impressions that normally happen, they use a machine that takes a picture of your tooth area to make a perfect crown. There was no wait to get in (which in the beginning i was happy about but it also made me nervous since my former dentist had a 5 month wait???). But this was the BEST thing that ever happened for me. I will not go anywhere else as long as Dr Sharma is there. I cannot recommend her and this office enough. The staff are friendly and helpful. They take their time. There is no rush. The are a well kept secret. I couldn't be more grateful to them and to Dr Sharma. I hope if you are reading this, you will not hesitate to give them a try!"
