"The receptionist called to cancel my appointment because the doctor recommended I space the appointment out further. I told the receptionist that I was unable to do so because I would be moving away from the area for a year within the next three weeks. I asked the receptionist if she could speak with a doctor. She refused and said, “sorry, they were pretty firm in their decision”. I asked that she share the information with the doctor and give me a call back. Again, she refused and said, “it’s a no”. I asked to be transferred to speak with someone else, and she hung up the phone. I do not believe that a receptionist should be making medical decisions for a patient without consulting a doctor for guidance."

"I've been coming here for as long as I've been getting mammograms provided my insurance will cover them. I call them my imaging spa. The atmosphere is comfortable and you don't feel like you're on an assembly line. What I like best is that the radiologist will review all prescribed tests while you're still here. Should something else be warranted, your prescribing physician and insurance will be contacted and the additional procedures will be done. This saves the wait with anxiety and a return trip. Otherwise you leave knowing your results."

"I have been going to Weinstein for years and appreciate the friendly, capable staff and love that your results are given to you before you leave the office. If you go, make sure you double check your insurance coverage. Unfortunately, last visit, they neglected to tell me that they did not take my insurance even though it was presented for their review before and at the appointment. They apologized for their mistake, but I still had to pay the $300 bill which I received just before Christmas for an August appointment. No reflection on their ability as an imaging facility, I have always been very satisfied and am sorry to have to go elsewhere now."

"My wife and I typically go to Weinstein Imaging on Center Avenue, but due to an emergency staffing issue, our appointment was canceled and we instead went to the South Hills Office. We never had a problem with the previous office, so this review is only for the South Hills facility. Our ultrasound tech at the South Hills office was fantastic. She was very courteous, kind, and personable. She detailed the procedure and what she was seeing; she put us at ease! However, we did not enjoy the 35 minute wait (having seen only one patient go in before us) to get into our appointment and the 25 minute wait to speak with Dr. Chang afterward. No one wants to wait for nearly a half an hour AFTER you're finished with an unproblematic appointment to have a 5 minute introduction with a physician when you clearly do not need to! This procedure is a time-waster. To end on a more positive note, Dr. Chang seems like a lovely person, and we look forward to going back to our regular office!"

"As always, efficient, on time and compassionate. Have been a patient for more than 20 years at different locations and have always had thee same outstanding care from scheduling to the front desk through the procedure. The best part, however, is that you get your results the same day. Not having to wait and worry is such a gift."
