"This review is more for the billing aspect of Dr. Iskander’s office. As a doctor he was very empathetic, took my concerns serious and spent time to talk through things with me. However, before scheduling an appointment, please know they bill your insurance as outpatient and not specialist - which makes a difference. It was billed as ”Outpatient” bc he’s apart of Southwoods now Since it was billed this way I owe bc of my deductible. Had it been billed as a specialist appointment (like I assumed) it would have been 100% covered. Southwoods will not make any adjustment or resubmit the invoice. I was told “we can put you on a payment plan.” I hope this will save someone else the headache and money."

"Dr. Iskander has showed true dedication to his profession since the very first time I walked in his door. He had studied my chart and test results prior to my initial visit and he was well prepared by the time I arrived. He is not a physician that will make you feel like you are being rushed out the door. Dr. Iskander has always given me ample time to discuss and understand my diagnosis and treatment options. He cares about his patients and it is obvious that he is dedicated to providing the best care possible."
