Insight Clinical Counseling and Wellness was founded on the principle of meeting patients wherever they are on their mental health journey. We are committed to being a supportive and healing presence as you navigate the path to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Understanding the stigma often associated with mental health medication, we also provide education and support for those considering or currently using psychotropic medications, such as anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, mood stabilizer, and antipsychotic medications. Our aim is to normalize these treatments and provide comprehensive care that addresses both the psychological and physiological aspects of mental health.
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month each May, we join the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in promoting the "Take a Moment" campaign, encouraging individuals to prioritize their mental health and well-being.
If you find yourself struggling to regulate your emotions or facing difficult situations, our specialized therapies, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), can provide the tools and strategies you need to manage your emotions more effectively.

"My daughter and I have been seeing Gia for about a year now. She is always professional and very easy to talk to. She always creates a positive and nonjudgmental environment which makes it very easy to be open and honest with our feelings. The staff is always friendly and always have smiles on their faces. I would highly recommend Gia if anyone is looking for a wonderful and supportive counselor."
"I was hopeful that Insight would be a good fit in terms of getting help for mental health and my transition process. It saddens me that wasn’t true. I was scheduled with Mari and right off the bat, she had a very unwelcoming attitude and behaved a little unprofessional. The intake session was the worst one yet. She didn’t ask many relevant questions in terms of my care. She saw I was struggling being in the office and answering the questions but she didn’t do anything to help make me feel more comfortable or have an easier time answering. When seeing a therapist, if they ask a question and they see their patient struggling they should broaden the question to help the patient think and answer accordingly. For example if you ask if I have coping skills but see I’m struggling, you would ask “What are some things you do that help you feel more calm?” But unfortunately, she just sat there while I anxiously tried to answer questions. At the very end of my session, she said a statement to me that was very unprofessional but I also feel was purposeful. I think she purposely said the statement to trigger me. I cannot speak on Insight as a whole but I can say that Mari was rather unprofessional and not very welcoming. She didn’t make any efforts to help me feel comfortable in her office."
"After going to counseling at another facility for 6 years, I felt it was time for a change. I wasn’t getting what I needed anymore. I was told about Insight, so I checked out their website. I decided to make an appointment with Jen, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I feel like I’m getting somewhere with dealing with my trauma and my overall mental wellness. Talking with Jen and getting her insight/feedback is refreshing, and it is so nice to finally have a plan about continuing my mental health journey. I’m forever happy I started going to Insight and seeing Jen."
"I must say I completely disagree with this alleged "Shannon". After enrolling at Insight Clinical Counseling & Wellness (LLC), I have been completely cured of all mental ailments. Unlike "Shannon" (perhaps that's an new-age internet euphemism for "Karen"), I was able to quickly connect and effectively communicate with my therapist and begin to tackle my issues almost immediately. Perhaps if everyone was able to enter therapy with an open mind instead of a "fix me" attitude, they would be able to see the same kind of life changing results that I have, all thanks to the amazing care and expertise found at Insight Clinical Counseling & Wellness (LLC)."
"I was hopeful that my daughters would get the care they needed to grow & heal. Even after many months of seeing Sarah & Jen, there was no progression & no attempt by either therapist to learn about my girls, to try to establish trust, nor come up with a treatment plan. I was told by Jen that my daughter should see someone else because she didn't talk enough. The experience left my daughters & I feeling even more hopeless. Nevermind all the time & money wasted."
