Reviews
"I went for the 2nd time earlier this month; The last time being 2 years ago. I truly don't believe anything changed at all. Many of the animals were missing the day I was there, but for what it is, it is ok. ZooAmerica could definitely use a renovation."
"Not bad for a little zoo. Wish there was way more considering the $16 entry fee. Still very nice and it's a good walk. Good thing too is you can buy tix online ahead of time"
"Wasn't too much to see. Easy to get through and fun for kids to learn about some animals. A good break from the rest of the theme park chaos. The whole middle section just seemed to be vultures and non of the other animals you could usually see. However, it was super hot out so they may have moved them due to drought conditions. I'd go again though if I was going to be a Hershey Park."
"We entered through hershey park, and it wasn't busy at all. It was an easy walk all the way around and took us about an hour. Would be longer for someone who likes to read all the signs and all, but with 3 boys they just like to look. It was clean and seemed well maintained. There was a good amount of animals to look at, but not overwelming that you feel rushed to look at it all. They really liked the binocular lookouts at many of the animals and could really look closely at the animals. For kids like mine that are constantly on the go, this was the perfect "mini zoo" to look at. Definitely recommend checking it out while in Hershey Park. Not sure that I'd buy tickets to just enter zoo America unless they were having a program or special exhibit or something like a close encounters type thing. Overall, we likes it and will definitely go back in when in Hershey Park again."
"Zoo visit was a nice getaway from Hershey Park when it's really packed. Plenty of animals to check out. It was odd seeing so many Black Volchers, but after reading some of their signs about them, I understood why they were everywhere. Favorite parts of the Zoo for us were the Wolves and Bald Eagle exhibits. We walked through with barley anyone around us."
