"I Experienced "2" Brain Hemorrhage Strokes in May, 2013. I Woke Up from my COMA, inside of Extended ICU -- "5" Weeks after my Strokes occurred. I learned that Dr. Kohli had Performed "2" Open Skull Craniotomy Surgeries, to Stop my Ruptured Brain Aneurysms. He has continued to be my Doctor for these past "9" years. I highly Respect his abilities as a Neurosurgeon !!! Also, I've always been treated very Well by His Office Staff."
"Quick tempered, rude and unfriendly is the best way to describe Dr. Kohli's staff CONSISTANTLY! They must have caught this attitude from Dr. Kohli himself. The receptionist was the only one in that office with any sort of manners. Dr. Kohli was ready to send my brother and I on our way (after a 2 minute exam) without even looking at his latest brain MRI that was performed the day before! A minor stroke was found in his new MRI....AFTER I had to tell him he just had one done the day before. Very cold and uncaring is the only way I can describe the entire experience. The man needs to hang up his surgical gloves."
"I was sent to Dr. Kohli because of a mass lump on my forehead from bumping my head on a hand rail back in November 2018! I saw him today after getting my cat scan done and he told me it did not look like it was attached to the bone. But it needs removed then a biopsy to make sure there was no cancer! I immediately told him that i wanted to go to Cleveland Clinic because they are the best especially if there is cancer. Well My husband and I got an immediate , "that's your choice" then Kohli shakes my hand and say's "good luck". He had washed his hands of my health because i wanted to go the best place I could for treatment! He is the rudest Doctor I have ever met and after the visit his staff was just as bad! I'd never recommend him to anybody! I am so thankful I chose to go to Cleveland clinic because I found out this week that it is a very rare form of lymphoma and that it is localized! If I had let Kohli do his thing it could have been opened up and spread thru out my body! I am DONOT trust him. I am so thankful I trusted my gut!"
"I found Dr Kohli to be cold & uncaring. In order to avoid back surgery #6 I had 2 Neurostimilaters implanted. These were done about 3 years apart. It was the 2nd ine that gave me trouble. I had horrible pain down the 1 side of my spine & across my shoulder blades. It began IMMEDIATELY, after turning the stim on. (I later found out that this was a rare reaction to the stim.) I was in unbearable pin 24/7. Dr Kohli absolutely refused to provide any pain meds. He told me to get them from my Fam Dr, who refused because I was seeing Kohli. We went arround and around . Finally he admitted me to the Hospital. BUT ONLY AFTER I TOLD HIM THAT I NO LONGER COULD TAKE THE PAIN! Dr Kohli seemed to care more about what others were saying than how his patients were. He,also did a Mylogram on my back. I immediately got a migraine. Again Kohli refused to give me pain meds. I got sick to my stomach and crying before he would. I am not a drug seeker. The need of pain meds was real and appropriate. I will NEVER see the man again. He does NOT care about his patients. If he is recommended, run the other way. I cannot recommend this man!"
"I had an accident at work in October 2017 which resulted in 2 broken vertebrae, a fractured rib and a herniated disc. He performed a spinal fusion the following day. He never informed me that I had also herniated a disc at that time. Fast forward to March 2018 at a follow up appointment he asked me how I was feeling and I told him I was still in pain despite the spinal fusion healing. He referred to an MRI that was performed the morning of my accident and told me I had a herniated L3 L4 disc and that was why I was still in significant pain and that it would require another spinal fusion surgery. Why this was not addressed while I was in the hospital is beyond me. Workers compensation denied his request to perform surgery, as they always do. My attorney told me to call his office and tell him I needed my off work status to be extended to get me through the appeals process. He told me, through his receptionist, that he wouldn't do that because workers comp denied my surgery. I am in no condition to return to work and I have had no physical rehabilitation at all. Basically, I'm now on my own. Needless to say, when and if I do have surgery, it will be by another surgeon."
