"Jill was an excellent server, full of a cheerful personality. The chef, Aaron was very accommodating too. Both my husband and I got the all you can eat crab legs. Both the crab legs and the sides were wonderful!"

"Closest you can get to a beach bar in Pittsburgh! Drinks run a little mild, but still very tasty! I got a Painkiller and a Pineapple Mule both tasted super good, think next time I would ask for an extra shot in each though. For a late lunch I got the Pittsburgh salad with a side of shrimp that I really enjoyed -!! I totally recommend visiting this place for the atmosphere on a nice Summer day! Tip, they have a dock if you want to park your boat there!"

"A great find! The smoked salmon sandwich was delicious and well balanced. My partner had the salmon BLT and it was also phenomenal - I need to figure out how to make that parsley aioli at home! Deck seating was lovely with a view of the river, and service from Eli was great. We'll definitely be back!"

The food standing on its own merits a five-star rating, but the staff’s demeanor, while understandable, slightly diminishes the overall experience. The pricing is fair for the quality of the food served and location. The subdued enthusiasm and creativity among the staff can likely be attributed to the high demand of this location and constraints placed on them by patrons. Imagine the caliber of seafood you’d find at Dead Dogs or Creek Rats in Murrells Inlet, SC, but with a price tag that reflects the challenge of sourcing top-notch seafood in Pittsburgh. The kitchen staff deserves accolades for serving up the best crab cake and grilled shrimp I’ve enjoyed in the city—and that includes my own homemade dishes! (Note: had they been playing blues as the name sake states atmosphere would have been a 5... poor music choice playing to loud)"

"The outdoor atmosphere is the best in Pittsburgh, breezy and by the water. Our waiter Steven was amazing! So friendly, helpful, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs for my nieces’ birthday dinner. He brought a bright and cheery ambiance to an already lovely environment. The food was exceptional, crab legs were decadent and delightful, lobster roll succulent, and the mahi tacos were perfection. Service was tip top, can’t wait to go back!"
