"Have been seeing Dr. Douglas for about 4-5 yrs & was very impressed with him as a Dr from the first visit. He seems genuinely concerned for his patients eyesight. His staff is also very pleasant & friendly. The first exam I had done was very thorough, they recommended an optomap test & although it was $35 out of pocket it was the best $35 I ever spent. It showed I had a macular hole & detached retina. I would recommend this test to everyone atleast once. I do it every yr however as my eyes are worth every bit of $35."
"EVERYONE who works here is super nice and courteous. I saw Dr. Chad Douglas who was so friendly and relatable. The office has a local “mom and pop” vibe meshed with a trendy boutique style atmosphere with a “large store chain” efficiency. I highly recommend!!"
"I went to Dr. Douglas for my eye exam. I paid the sitting fee for that when I was there. I took the sample contact home and was delayed to return because I was hit by a vehicle and was down for three months. when I returned after my layup I went back, the office made me pay an additional $50 because they hadn’t seen me in three months which I don’t understand that because, eye exams are good for a year so my prescription exam should’ve been good for a year he spoke about something with crusty stuff on my eyelids, Advised me of using something and I left and went home. I got a $30 bill in the mail from the doctor saying he treated me medically which he did not. I went in there to get an exchange contact because of the accident delayed me from returning sooner. But the one I left there the first time wasn’t good for my eye he gave me advice in his own recognizance upon changing out my contact. I did not go to the eye doctors to get any medical advice for any conditions or problems. I was having with my eyes other than ordering fresh contacts. The Dr. just spoke of what he seen in my eyes about his medical advice they billed my insurance got paid from that, and then kicked out, whatever they didn’t pay and now they’re charging me for that. I feel that’s very unprofessional I shouldn’t be charged. I did not go in there for anything Medical . I only went to exchange my contacts for a different kind that fit my eye properly . I would not recommend them. I couldn’t even try on the glasses while I was waiting to see Dr they told me they had to hand them to me in a tray. I couldn’t go over to the wall and pick my own. I don’t know where these other reviews are coming from maybe their family posts Unsure, but my experience was not a very good one"
"I was going here for years, Dr Douglas is great. Unfortunately, one bad experience has ruined it all. There was a Huge mix-up with our insurance coverage based on my understanding of it & theirs. However, the staff did not handle it the way they should have, not kind, or compassionate. They will not honor frame allowances that anywhere else in network would. They did not explain to me Why they don’t honor frame allowances, and have yet to. They also did not come out and tell me this before getting to the point of purchasing glasses. They DID honor the frame allowance in 2021, yet, claimed they never have. My insurance has proof of it. If you care about that type of stuff, I suggest asking them before even browsing if they actually take all discounts from your specific insurance. I wish I would have known this myself. From now on, I’ll be going somewhere that accepts all discounts from my insurance, and mostly just because the staff did not handle this situation well."
"Amazed at what sweet caring people they are. My son had an emergency and we were never patients before and they got him in immediately and made him feel so comfortable and calmed my nerves as well. They definitely got 3 new forever patients today."
