"The associates, the optical tech and Doctor were all very helpful and made accommodations for me as a wheelchair user. Only issue I have is it's hard to talk to someone 'live' when trying call about my payment plan. I keep getting Amelia the bot. And no one is available to take my call. So, if you don't have to call for a real agent then Visionworks is great. ;)"
"Showed up on time for my appointment at 11am. They asked me for my insurance. Gave them my info, they acted as if they never heard of it. Meanwhile I call my employer who verified it, and they are a participating provider. They said we'll have to fit you in at 1145am because they took over 15 minutes to verify it. Meanwhile another person who was 10 minutes late got turned away because of a 10 minute appointment window. I sat till 1215 PM waiting. On that time frame the incompetent lady working the desk asked my name 3 times then mixed me up with another customer and their information. So they could not fit me in after waiting all that time because of their screw up. I got up and said I was here on time my time is just as valuable as yours. I now have to make a new appointment because of their incompetence. Costing me time and gas and another day off work......"
"While usually it is nice to get in here for an appointment quickly, communication across the board is very challenging. First and foremost the AI phone call with "Amelia" is miserable. I had a single question about possibly adjusting contact prescription and I waited three weeks to get an answer from them. Three weeks with me calling and getting sent to their main customer service on two occasions, and the Erie branch twice as I have not been able to go there in person. Even being on "priority list" I never recieved a call back. When I finally got a hold of the Erie branch, I was told they were not able to do anything for me without coming in for a new appointment that my insurance will not cover. I understand them not being able to do much, but three weeks for a simple "no" answer and consistently being told I would be called back but never was has hindered my experience greatly and on top of that set me 3 weeks behind getting my problem with my contacts resolved. Both individuals I spoke to at the Erie branch were very kind, and attempted to remedy the situation when I finally was able to get through to them, but this experience will have me looking elsewhere."
"You blew it. My wife brought my daughter in for an exam earlier today. The associate claimed that I was the only one listed on the insurance. Truth is, my spouse and children are covered as well. Not having my laptop or work phone with me at the time, I could not provide proof from my location at the given moment. The associate did not make any additional attempts or allow a supervisor to assist in looking up our coverage. I have had multiple appointments, as well as purchases, at this location. My son had an appointment last year - no issues with confirming coverage. We have purchased glasses for my daughter at least twice from this location - no issues with confirming coverage. My coverage has not changed. Please train your people better. We will not be back."
"I talked with Shanelle Lyons and she got me the best glasses I've ever owned, I had a pair of 60 dollar glasses picked out and she told me to go grab another pair no matter the price to see if my insurance would cover them, me being silly grabbed a nearly three hundred dollar pair of raybans and low and behold my insurance covered them! Now I have the comfiest and nicest glasses I've ever owned! Absolutely go here the process is quick and easy, and the glasses come fast and promptly!!"
