"Dr Lawerence is a fantastic physician unfortunately placed in an office of rude and insulting front desk personnel. They failed to make proper attempts to bill insurance and claim they “did their part” and responded to my inquiries with “what do you want to do about it”. Embarrassing behavior from adults who take full advantage of patients. They requested a payment from June 2023 with zero prior calls (after Ive moved addresses) and claiming they left a vm once. Instead of trying to be polite and rectify the situation THEY put themselves in, they hand it off to the patient to get off the hook from their lack of effort. Not to mention the absolute lack of any kindness from the get go. Youre job is only made more difficult when you become a difficult person. Instead of talking through options she placed me on a hold to hand me off to some other woman making the same statement and again showing a complete lack of engagement and any ounce of sincerity. Furthermore, the front desk staff scheduling appointments have always been difficult to deal with. Most of Dr Ls patients put up with it because of how wonderful she is but this billing experience is absolutely the last straw and I will be seeking a new doctor. Lastly, booking a telehealth appointment doesnt ever mean you get an appointment at that time. It means you get called at their (docs) convenience. So incredibly insensitive to those patients waiting 6+ mths for appointments. Terrible shame that a great doc is held back by an uncommitted and rude staff."
