"I have visited this lab a few times and have had a very positive experience each time. Most recently, I thought I was in a bit of a situation because the [different] lab I had gone to was unexpectedly closing so I had to search for one close by. I was reminded that Northwell has the 60th st. location so I visited that site, and I was able to get right in. Both of the employees at the desk were very friendly (which I appreciated as I had been frantically running around the city in the humidity) and were able to get my checked in and blood drawn right away. The process was quick and efficient. I was also reminded that - if you are visiting for a Northwell doctor-requested series of bloodwork - they should have the information already in the computer, which makes it much easier than having to remember the print-out of requested labs."
"The receptionist of color was very unprofessional and consistently repeated the same sarcastic words when I didn’t fill out the paperwork properly. The lady who took my blood was very sweet and tried to lighten the mood but her technique is not it. The angle is too high and she inserts the needle very deep and then moves it on the surface. The hematoma and bruising is insane. Also they did not suggest to sit for a while after taking my blood and I fainted in the middle of the street …"
"The two receptionists are, by far, the rudest human beings I have ever encountered. Not a word of greeting. They shove papers in your face without instruction. They make you wait endlessly even though no one was in the facility. They laugh and make faces behind your back. They lack professionalism and decorum. Obnoxious."
"Awful experience. The person who did my intake was rude and inconsiderate. The technician who took my blood samples was nice, but the whole experience was not worth the stress. Will not be going back to this location."
"What is the purpose of this sign if no one is picking up. Have some respect to your customers. Your customers mostly sick people and they deserve better treatment. When I bring sick person all the way to your to find someone in your office forgot to put the name in the system and security doesn’t allow us to enter the building and no one is answering the calls, then someone isn’t doing the job professionally. Even the website to make appointments is wrong. Now I wonder if the tests and results are benign handle unprofessionally as well."
