"So I wrote a review that was very negative because I figured let me reach out to the owner and go from there. Well, she never got back to me and I gave her PLENTY of time to respond back via email. So I'm reposting this review............................................ Didn't feel welcome there at all. The gentleman Rick was very rude to me. He is not a very hands on guy, that makes you feel welcomed and want to shop there. If you want somebody, you feel comfortable with don't go and see rick I promise. Just didn't have, you can say bedside manners. The whole time I felt like I was walking on egg shells, dealing with RICK!!. Then a customer came in and rick had to help him real quick and he was very very friendly with him. Laughing talking friendly, making the customer feel Appreciated and welcomed. The second he came back I tried to make some light conversation And Rick did not budge. He never once smiled or tried to act friendly and kind.He just stayed stern and didn't really talk much didn't explain anything about The expensive $250 glasses I picked out. Didn't tell me The kind of tint they're putting on the glasses, What to expect with The tinted glasses meaning perception of light might be different Just some clarity on what i'm purchasingnever once gave me any deta. Just said what color lens do you want? I did not at all feel like I was welcomed there. Basically that was it didn't go into anything else about the glasses. Not the final price or anything, Just said will call you in 2 (which btw he didn't I had to Rely on a text message).By the time i left I felt nervous to even ask a questions that i had. You knoe in life you can tell by a person's mannerisms if they like talking to you or not. Clearly Rick didnt give a crap whether i shopped there or not.It's like he wanted me out of the store and left alone. Horrible customer service, unfortunately, I can't express that part enough. Really irritates me because I saw him act kind and friendly towards that other customer, when he stepped as aside when assisting me. Like I said came back and was the stern principal again. Kinda felt like being a kid in high school. And you got in big trouble and you have to go see the principle and she is not happy you messed up again. Thats the best way I can explain it. Hey rick if u read this maybe don't work in a profession, where u have contact with people because you suck at being a kind decent human being!! Shame on you!! You should feel ashamed making me feel this way. Sorry my hundreds of dollars wasn't good enough for YOU!! SMH!! Real quick my girlfriend wet and got glasses up at America's best on peach Street. There staff was AMAZING FUNNY WARM MADE U FEEL WELCOMED!!!! lady was so kind and so respectful. She had her actually try the glasses on she looked at her made Sure, everything lined up and everything was tightened. Had her looked down and shake her head to make sure they felt sturdy,l was very hands on with the customer. Wish I can say the same at vision associates in gerard pennsylvania maybe they Need, new staff I don't know. I hate to leave this post and I thought a lot about it. But i'm just so irritated where I don't care. Sorry, but not sorry. Once my glasses were finally ready for pick up I go in Sit down I believe tom help me basically Gave me my glasses, the man didn't even sit down was like a 15 second exchange. It was nothing like Americss best, Didn't really ask me questions like do you need anything tightened? How do they feel all he asked was? Can you see out of them, i said Yes. He was like then you're all set. It's disgusting And negligent that I got that attitude at vision associates. Even though I spent hundreds of dollars there what a joke. If I can give this place a negative stars? I would ,never again. Will I go there and neither should any of you."
"The best place to go to get your eyes examined all of the staff are very nice and polite. Everyone there will assist you with zero problems. They answer all your questions that you may have. Mrs. Emily is very thorough in her examinations and never leaves you with unanswered questions about the exam itself. Fast and very efficient. I will not see anyone else now but her.."
"The staff are very friendly and they make the atmosphere there inviting. Rick is absolutely amazing with glasses fitting, finding the right frames, and fixing glasses. I honestly would not go anywhere else. I live in Girard, but I would drive from Northeast to go here. Also, the advice I received about my eye care was priceless!!
