"Ward air offers the finest flying experience in South East Alaska. They absolutely make sure to get you and or your supplies to basically anywhere in SE Alaska. They basically are like the Bush uber of the area. The pilots are nice and experienced as well. Booking your flight is easy, and they are willing to work with your needs. I used their services extensively while I lived in Elfin Cove, which is only accessible by float plane or boat. I booked about 20 flights over my 5-6 months in Elfin. They are on time, and good communicators. A word of advice: the weather can be atrocious and unpredictable in Alaska. The staff cannot change the weather. Take care to carefully plan your flight around the weather. Look at forecasts of wind, heavy fog, ect. The weather is basically going to be the only reason they will be delayed or cancel a flight. They cannot and will not risk your life. When you book expeditions or remote trips up here, you MUST factor in weather. They ALWAYS fly if they can safely. There night be times when the weather is good in Juneau, but unflyable at your destination. I'd absolutely recommend them 100 times over. I have no relation to this company, I'm just a satisfied customer."

"The pilots are friendly, experienced, conscientious; with safety as a top priority. The planes appear to be well maintained and in the winter there is lots of annual maintenance being performed. We fly with them frequently and with the exception of weather issues they pick up and drop off on schedule. The front desk is cheerful, and accurately manages drop offs and pick ups."
