"This is my go-to accommodation in Palmer/Wasilla. I've stayed here a number of times and am actually booking two more reservations as I type this. This is Alaska so options are limited, and this is an old-school motel, so keep that in mind. The regular rooms have been a great option while traveling by myself. The cabins are also really nice if you would like a little bit more room and/or are sensitive noise from your motel neighbors. My rooms have always been spotlessly clean and fresh."

"If you're staying in Palmer Alaska, this is the place to book. Check-in is very simple. There is an envelope with your name on it that you pick up in the office and go directly to your room. The room is very cozy and has anything you would need. A small kitchen sink, fridge, TV, etc. The whole room was very clean! The bed was comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"Great place at a great value. We only had one night in Palmer but would have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious and included some amenities (fridge/microwave/etc.) that some much "nicer" hotels we stayed in did not. This is not a fancy hotel by any means, but it is clean and comfortable!"

"My Mom and I stayed at the Pioneer Motel in late August. Our room was a pet friendly room as there were no non-pet rooms left, but this did not bother us a bit as the room was extremely clean and comfortable. Having an actual refrigerator/ freezer instead of a mini fridge was a great plus. There are two high quality washers and dryers in the laundry room, both were in perfect working order. Linda, the manager, is absolutely fantastic. We had to change our itinerary at the last minute due to weather and Linda could not have been more helpful. I would say Linda definitely went "above and beyond" for us and seems to really go the extra mile for all guests and the entire property. I would definitely recommend Pioneer Motel. Very clean, very high value, and exceptional service: easy 5 stars!"
