"Best place for a solidly decent men's haircut in Anchorage if you don't want to go to a salon. Check in well ahead online, because they tend to book up fast, but lots of people are no-shows, so the wait times are inflated."

"Barber cut my ear while giving me my haircut. Charged the MVP price even though all I got was a haircut no shampoo or massage. This is also not the first time these things have happened. Very low quality control and you still end up paying about 40$ for a sub par experience."

"Called 30 minutes prior. Was told to check in online. Did so. Went to shop and did not see my name on queue. Tried to get the attention of staff. Was ignored by 2 persons cutting hair. Finally after 15 minutes of waiting, another staff member came to help. They put me at the back of the line. 35 minutes estimated wait. Walked next door to Great Clips. Greeted right away, haircut $10 cheaper even with my normal added 30% tip to staff. Will be tipping 30% at Great Clips for now on."

"Sher was a great hair dresser and gave me exactly the haircut that I asked for! About an hour after my haircut, I decided that I actually wanted the top about an inch shorter, so I went back and Sher cut the extra off for free! Of all my sports clips / greats clips experiences over the years, I have never had hair dresser who took so much care into making sure that my hair looked clean and professional. I watched as she meticulously cut all the different sides of my hair, as she took extra effort to make sure that nothing was left uneven. On top of this all, she provided the perfect amount of conversation; genuine small talk, not too much and let me enjoy the cut. It was also the best head massage I've ever received at sports clips, she hit all the pressure points. Great experience and I'm looking forward to having Sher again next month."

"$33 for a basic haircut, but the price doesn’t match the quality of service. Very disappointed in the outcome of my haircut and fade. I came back the next day and had my hair fixed by another stylist who agreed I needed it fixed. If I return, I’ll probably only have Jeron cut my hair."
