"This is a year around campground at the Red Canyon Rim. Tent and RV sites with walking paths along the canyon rim. Plenty of paved roads for bicycling. This campground is within a 1/4 mile of the visitors center that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. This is a primitive campground with no hookups, but vault toilets and water are available. Both shady and sunny sites are available."
"Beautiful campsite! We were surrounded by flowers our entire stay. The camp sites are close to the Gorge, but not right on the edge like some others."
"$22 a night. Bring cash. No camp host. Two pit toilets. A few water taps. Two sites are steps from the rim of the gorge. Total grand canyon vibes. Quiet and clean if you have considerate neighbors. Hike the trail to the visitors center. There are many vista points."
"Beautiful Rim views and well spaced sites. Camp Host is genial and efficient. We arrived at 11 am on a Friday and got space 11 first come first served. There is a dump station out toward Dutch John's at the marina just past Fireman's campground. $7 bucks. Lovely hiking and site seeing here. Will return."
"I just visited this campground on 5/2/19. It was beautiful! So peaceful, not a lot of people around. We have the camping spot 9 - highly recommend!! We were right overlooking the gorge and I cannot describe how beautiful it was (see picture). All in all this is a hidden gem of a campground, and I am suggesting to all my friends that they visit here!"
