"Stopped in for a shampoo and blow dry before heading to the airport. The hairdresser was so sweet and friendly. It was a great way to wind down and get ready for a long flight!"

"Nice shop. Haircut was good. Hidden on a lower floor of the Captain Cook Hotel which makes it hard to find. A little pricey but this is sorta normal Anchorage upcharge."

"Marilyn owns the Captain Cook Barber Shop and she is an excellent hair stylist. For over 10 years I and my sons have been going to her shop for all our hair needs. She has a large clientele of both men and women and she charges a very reasonable price that just can't be beat. The folks there go out of their way to accommodate last minute appointments and they are always professional and friendly. I highly recommend this business to out of town guests and to the locals as well."
