"Recently went to get a hair cut from Kia. Decided to try her out since my previous stylist had to move her work to the valley and became a little inconvenient for some quick touch ups to my hair. I just needed an undercut and a side bang trim. Undercut was great and she was really attentive to what I wanted with that, but that was the only good thing she did. I specifically told her that I loved my side bangs, and cannot stand my bangs styled in front of my forehead. She ended up cutting my bangs soaking wet and admitted to styling them to the front of my forehead despite what I had asked for. I reiterated that I don't like them styled like that, and she proceeded to pull them to the front and use a straightener to flatten them to my forehead. Of course when she blow dried them they shrank up and remained at my forehead, so styling them to the side of my head after the fact has been a nightmare. It was also 30 something degrees that evening, and she blow dried my hair so quickly that it felt like she was ripping through my hair, as well as leaving me noticeably damp that I had to ask her to blow dry me some more, to which she proceeded to do really fast again, thus ripping through my hair some more. This appointment was also after I had gotten off of work, and she washed my hair so fast after the undercut, completely ignoring my scalp and only washing my physical hair. I asked her if she could please wash my scalp so that it doesn't get itchy or oily, and she barely washed it at all for just a few seconds, so not only did I have to wash my scalp upon getting home afterwards, but what I had hoped would have been a relaxing appointment after a long day of work ended up feeling rushed and nothing like what I had asked for. Will make the trip out to the valley to see my previous stylist once my horrendous bangs grow out and will not be going back to this place."
