"When I arrived at the hair salon, immediately noticed that the place was dirty and very unsanitary! The salon itself looked filthy over all. The chair where her clients sit had wears and tears in the chair. I had showed her a picture of the color I wanted to achieve beforehand. Asked her repeatedly if she was able to do the highlights for my hair and ash brown to my roots. She told me that it was doable. Once she started the process to color my hair, she said that dark brown would be applied. I had told her that is not the color I want for my roots, and then told me that she was using ash brown instead. After the color was processed, we went to go and rinse out my hair. She did not put a towel under my neck to rest on the sink. It was very uncomfortable and disturbing. After my hair was rinsed, we returned back to the chair and my hair was dried. I looked in the mirror and I was in complete shock and very disappointed of how it turned out. My roots were a lighter color and the rest was dark brown away from my roots. Before the color was applied to my hair, my highlights had already grown from my roots. She did not do the highlights to my hair at all after the color was done. I told her that it was not what I wanted at all. She kept insisting that it was what I asked for. Then she told me that I would be charged more for the color. I told her that I would not be paying more than what she asked for and that my hair was already ruined by her. The response was that she does not do light colors on her clients and does dark brown. I would not recommend anyone to her for a hair color or highlights at all. She did the complete opposite of what I wanted and it was horrible. This is by far the worst encounter I've ever had with a hair stylist and salon I have ever been too. Please do not waste your time and money here. It was very unprofessional and very unsatisfying experience over all!! You can see in the picture that it was not done as shown in the picture to the right. Complete disaster and absolutely not worth going to her at all! This was done two weeks ago!"
