"This museum is great. Very informative. They have videos that teach you things like how McDonalds makes their fries. Great collection of Mr Potato head toys and a wall of potato mashers. Definitely visit the cafe while you are there. We had the loaded baked potato, tots, hand cut fries with fry sauce and the best potato soup ever!! Worth a visit if you’re in the area."
"I had a lovely experience here on a random Friday afternoon. It was very interesting learning about potatoes. I was surprised on all there is to know about them. How they grow, harvest, transport, types, history, etc. At the end, they have a restaurant where you can dine in. I had a very lovely baked potato for lunch and a huckleberry flavored soda crafted in Jackson Hole. I bought a really nice cotton T-shirt from their gift shop."
"The evening was peaceful in the parking lot. The train came through at 4am. Four out of five of us in our party slept through the horn noise. The store had a great and unique selection. The museum was actually informative, interesting, and interactive. The adults learned a few things as did the kids. The cafe was delicious with great prices. We first thought this would be a tourist trap but quickly realized it was a delightful experience."
"Adults: $6 Kids 5 to 12: $3 Kids 4 and under: Free Military and Senior Discounts (July 2023) Tastefully priced cafe with delicious waffle fries and dipping sauces. The huckleberry locally made ice cream was delightfully creamy. Well decorated and fun little museum complete with a Potato Lab for kids with interactive tools, computers, and a plethora of Mr. Potato Head parts. The VR Oculus lets you sit in the farmer’s seat as heavy machinery harvest potatoes. Quaint gift shop with interesting items from potato soap to chocolate covered potato chips. Don’t forget to look at the World’s Largest Potato Chip!"
"This place is SO COOL!!! We drove 12 hours and were not disappointed. There's actually a lot of hands-on things for all ages and the exhibits are informative. If you come here, you definitely should at least get fries from the cafe. They have a different garnish for their baked potatoes every day. We had sausage gravy during our visit to the museum. We came back the second day just to go to the cafe and got chili and cheese on a baked potato. I definitely recommend a visit here if you're anywhere near Idaho."
