"me and my 6 year old first time there, over all had a blast! last few minutes there tho was swimming with my son and notice a small shrimp looking bug in the pool. grossed me out. should of had my phone to take a picture."
"I’m sure all of us Anchorage/Alaska inhabitants have been here at least once and I just wanted to give an update. My partner and I thought it’d be super fun to come here on a date just because we both haven’t been since we were much younger. We had a fantastic time! Obviously the place is pretty outdated considering it was first opened in the 90s, but overall it’s still pretty fun to just swim around for about 2 hours. Because they’re low on staff, most of the machines are only on at specified times. It’s definitely a shell of what it used to be. I’m hoping they can soon revamp the whole place because this DEFINITELY could still be a hot spot if it was updated. Considering it’s the only waterpark in Alaska they have a monopoly and could easily generate popularity again with a remodel."
"Kids had fun, but the kitchen/snack workers are abysmally slow and the whole place is pretty dirty. There are 3 slides, and only one is open every 1-2 hours. This place could really use some renovations to make the place more sanitary. Especially the bathrooms."
"It’s like a plunge, community pool, the price is OVERPRICED I’m from Arizona and they don’t even charge 30$ per person. There was bandaids everywhere kind of unsanitary, there are 3 slides only two open or one open at a time. The parking is limited only like 10 spots half of which I’m sure the lifeguards take The girls at the desk were nice to my mother though"
"Overall, it was a little spendy for not having all the rides running while we were there for the afternoon. There is a pretty nice toddler section that our little guy enjoyed. They also gave him his own floaty for the lazy river which he loved."
