"If you want a fantastic yoga class go to Xochitl F.. She is kinetically minded, cues well for upcoming moves and has a fun, dry sense of humor. You may not realize it until the next day but your body will feel it and thank you. She is a fantastic yoga instructor and has been a mainstay at the AK CLUB for years! LOVE HER!"

"My massage with Rose was really great. She was patient, kind, and helped me relax with some good laughs. She lightened up when she hit a sore spot and took the time to understand concerns I had. Also the hot steam towels were lovely and the lotion/oil she uses is neutral smelling (thank you) and my sensitive skin did just fine with it."

"I was invited by management to provide a review, and to share any concerns prior to doing so. I did share those concerns and will discuss below. First, the good: Staff is great - very friendly, works diligently to keep towels stocked & premises clean. Trainers are great as well, willing to provide tips and leading a wide array of classes. Wide variety of equipment, but...one of my concerns was the diminishing number of stair climbers, my preferred cardio machine. Once there were eight, then six, then when I spoke to management, four. They've been steadily replaced by treadmills, which now number 18. One of those stair climbers has been out of service for over a week, and another failed this morning. Meanwhile only one treadmill was in use but both stair climbers were occupied. Another concern I shared was the running locker room joke about the lack of hot water in the showers. To the club's credit, this has been less of an issue since my call with a senior manager. Finally, I voiced concern that a few incidents left me with a feeling that the club managers weren't very concerned with the guest experience. So far I have no reason to change that opinion."

"The West Gym is my favorite. Not to disparage the others, but West club is so warm and friendly. I love the classes there, too. I do have one small criticism though. I assume it's a staffing issue, but I've noticed the floor in the big workout room can be pretty dirty, even at 9:15 am. But all around, I just coming to this place!"

"It has been a very positive and energetic environment at the Alaska Club West and all the staff go above and beyond to make each visit pleasant and comfortable. I am always greeted with a smile and friendly attitude especially from Erick Hicks who help me with my membership sign up and the female staff at the women's side especially Cameryn and Bri at the front desk."
