"I made a reservation over the phone. She never mentioned anything about cancelation policy. We were driving for so long and didn’t realize how far away this resort was. I called her again to see if we could cancel it and to see what the cancellation policy is (which is not on her website). She said it was 15 days in advance but we could just cancel, and she would not charge me. Well she did for a way bigger amount that the reservation was…."
"Terri is a wonderful host! We arrived Memorial Day weekend to a foot of fresh snow and Cooke City and Silvergate were both without power! Lucky for us Terri had back up generator that kept us warm and cozy like nothing had happened! Cabin was great, clean and warm. We left right before the floods created the damage to Yellowstone. You can’t find a better place to stay if you want the wildlife of Yellowstone and the magic of Lamar valley!!! We can’t wait to return!!"
"The owner is wonderful. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. We rented a side by side for the day and had a blast. Super close to Yellowstone. Very relaxing and peaceful."
"Everything about the Big Moose Lodge was great. Terry was so nice and accommodating (and her dog Little Moose was the best), the cabin was extremely clean and well-prepared, and a perfect location if you’re going to Yellowstone or just checking out Cooke City and Silver Gate (also great little towns, so worth it). We can’t wait to come back and stay here again."
"I love this place!! I had the most relaxing experience at the Big Moose Lodge. I stayed in one of the historic cabins and it was better than I thought it would be. Terri was a amazing host ! She makes sure that ever guest is comfortable like you are family. I will be for sure go back and tell everyone if they are looking for a true Mountain Resort to go there."
