"Highly recommend Karl. He is the greatest guide with so much knowledge, attention to detail, and makes safety a priority while still having fun. I got to see so much wildlife that was on my bucket list thanks to Karl. Karl even gave my fiancé the recommendation spot for our engagement. I now have the coolest stories to tell and memories that’ll last a lifetime. 100/10 recommend."
"We spent two spectacular days the with the Guides of Jackson Hole. The first day focused on the wildlife in Teton National Park and we were able to see both grizzly and black bears, bison, elk, moose and antelope. The guides were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals, their habitat and the history of the Yellowstone-Grand Tetons basin. We were fortunate to see some amazing sightings. While you might not be as fortunate, the Guides of Jackson Hole knew where to take you and get you there at the best times to see them. On the second day, we ventured out of the park to visit remote Indian petroglyphs in the area and check on more wildlife. Trevor and Natalie amazed us with their entertaining stories as well as their knowledge of biology, botany, geology, native American and early Wyoming history. Our party included three generations. We can’t say enough about the guides ability to engage with our teenagers and make accommodations so the grandparents could share the time and excitement of the journey. The Guides of Jackson Hole are a great tour group and worked with us to arrange a trip that reflected both our interests and a broad range of physical capabilities. We highly recommend them."
"My wife and I took 2 tours with GoJH. First was an evening wildlife tour through Grand Teton National Park and the second was the full day Yellowstone highlight tour. Both were simply outstanding. The guides are extremely knowledgeable on history, animal behaviors, and environment of this magical area. I highly recommend starting your time in the Jackson Hole area with Trevor and his wonderful Guides of Jackson Hole. Animal sightings are hit or miss (we hit!), but you just can't duplicate all the local knowledge these folks will provide to greatly enhance your stay in this fantastic landscape."
"Our afternoon with GO JH was amazing! We saw so much wildlife- sheep, bison, elk, moose, bald eagle, mule deer, wolves, ravens... all in around four hours! Trevor has such deep knowledge of the valley, and Teton county. He educated us on the area, history, nature, wildlife, real estate, fables, government and everything in between. We even took a snowy hike. We could have never packed so much into an afternoon. We traveled around in a comfy snack filled explorer which Trevor drove to each hidden site to show us wildlife. It was such an enjoyable tour. Be sure to dress warmly, as the temp drops really quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone and def want to go again in winter AND can’t wait to experience the summer tour!!"
"We started our tour by getting picked up in Griz (the reverent name our guide Trevor had given to his Ford Excursion) where coffee, tea and snacks were waiting. We headed north to the National Elk Refuge where we caught wind of the Huckleberry Wolf Pack sheltered close to a herd of elk. Trevor had two spotting scopes he set up and positioned on the pack along with other wildlife spots including several Coyotes feeding on a recent kill. We moved to the other side of the Elk Refuge getting several educational lessons along the way regarding the natural and human history of Jackson Hole, as well as a few laughs. From there we spotted a herd of Big Horn Sheep in a stand off with a few Coyotes that was incredibly entertaining to watch despite the frigid temperatures outside. We then drove north in to the Gros Ventre where we found a lonely moose having an afternoon willow snack and then topped the day off with another solo wolf spotting next to the road on our way back in to town. I was incredibly surprised by the amount of wildlife we were able to spot, including wildlife interactions, in the middle of the winter, but the real treat was getting to listen to Trevor discuss each species, interaction and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem in general so brilliantly and intimately. He was such a huge wealth of knowledge and I would recommend him again and again and again. Thanks for all the puns Trevor, can't wait for our next Tour!"
