"It's nice to have small restaurants like this in the community. It's a nice change from the typical fast food restaurants. The service was a little slow, but they seemed to be short staffed like everyone else. I got the Hickory Bacon Cheeseburger, and my wife got a Double Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. They were both very delicious meals. The pieces have gone up, so expect prices higher than when you go in."
"Short version: This is a small local place with high prices and decent but low quality service with higher than average wait times for your food, and while the food is good, there could definitely be improvements made with some evaluation of training and operating procedures. Long version: We came here for an early dinner and had an interesting experience. We ordered two burgers, mozzarella sticks, and a milkshake. The menu was just a billboard style with no descriptions. Most of it was self explanatory but there were some special options that you’d have to ask what they were to know. Total was around $42 which is high for what it was, but it’s a small local place so we weren’t expecting much different, you’ve got to cover your costs. We paid cash and had to wait for three or four minutes while they went in the back and got some change, not a big deal but an additional wait time. Once we got seated our mozzarella sticks came out in a regular amount of time for an appetizer, they tasted good but were more soft than crispy. Soon after we finished those we got our first burger with Tator tots and were told the milkshake would be out in a little bit. At this point we’d been here for about 20 minutes, not too bad of a wait time from order to getting our food. The burger was pretty good, decided to risk one of the unknown menu items called the single bypass, turns out it was a burger with an egg, bacon, and ham along with other classic burger toppings. The Tator tots were dark and very crispy, far more fried than our mozzarella sticks had been. My personal preference would have been a split difference between the two cooking times, but that’s just me. At this point I was curious because they mentioned the shake but not the other burger we had ordered. So we waited until we got the milkshake five minutes or so later. I asked about the other burger and the nice girl helping us looked really confused and said she’d go check on it. Now, this establishment is very small and has about 7 tables and a diner bar, so we were only about 20 feet from where the cooks were in the back. I could hear them discussing the missing burger and how it must have been made as an incorrect style that was then given to another customer who had ordered that option, so the correct burger for our order was never made. They decided to go ahead and remake our burger. I had overheard this and knew what was going on but no one came and said anything to us. At this point we’d been here about 30 minutes and split the one burger we had and ate it while we waited for anyone to come and talk to us about the other burger. We waited. And waited. And waited. At the point we’d been there about 55 minutes the nice girl who brought our first burger came and asked us if we’d ever gotten our other burger. I replied that no, we hadn’t. She then at this point told us the story of what had happened and gave a brief apology and said it would be out soon. It took another 10 minutes to get out to us, and when it finally came we just took it to go and left. Evidently it takes about 25-30 minutes to get each order of burger and Tator tots ready here, so be aware of that when you dine."
"One of the best burgers I've had. Great service and hospitality!!!"
"Can't say enough good things about this little gem! The food was well prepared and very tasty. That bacon cheeseburger, my word! Fresh cut fries were perfectly done, the tater tots were hot and crispy, the fish sandwich was on point. The real star of the meal were the buns. Oh man, so good! Everyone one was so friendly and helpful, by the time you leave you feel like a regular. Well done! We'll definitely be back!"
"My teenager ate the triple bypass but no way could finish the 18 pounds of fresh cut fries they give you. I had a Philly with steak fries that were an inch thick. The owners chatted us up and made us feel like regulars. Today was our first time but we'll be regulars now!"
