Sitka Wildlife Adventures

"Our Forest Service group needed to charter a boat for a day of stream surveying on Chichagof Island. We have always been happy with the level of service Davey provides. His boat and captaining skills are top-notch! He got us into some areas we otherwise wouldn't have been able to visit. We accomplished all of our work goals and managed to see some incredible wildlife along the route. Davey is super knowledgeable, accommodating and pretty funny too :) Thanks for a great field day!"

"Davey Lubin is a true treasure as an adventurer. I had moved to Sitka briefly and attempted to participate on many of the excursion boats. I could not get on even as one person, the cruise ships monopolized them and I became extremely frustrated. I found Davey Lubin’s ad and reached out, he responded within 24 hours and we set a date. He inquired to what I wanted to see, and we made a plan. Being a photographer, Sitka is certainly the place for photos. We ventured off to St. Lazaria and saw all sorts of sea birds, puffins, which are incredibly hard to photograph with a boat riding the waves. We traveled along the shore in search of bears but they were not cooperating, darn bears. Davey is a wealth of information and he teaches you along the way about what you are seeing. I have many photos from this trip and I was not disappointed. If you want a man who lives and breaths Sitka and the surrounding area he is your guy."
