"This was the best fishing trip we have ever been on! We were on a cruise (RC- Quantum) and a last minute itinerary change had us looking for an excursion. We found the halibut fishing and booked it after reading the reviews. Herm took us out on his very clean boat and already had the poles rigged to fish. Within a minute of dropping our poles we already had fish on. Herm helped with everything including baiting (if you needed him). I think our boat with 6 people caught around 25 fish total. By the time it was time to go in, we were happily exhausted and ready to head in. You can only keep one to ship home. Our fish is on its way to us now! I would highly recommend this excursion. It was the highlight of our trip! Here is my 35 lb fish (my husband helped get him in- holy moly he was heavy and a fighter! Bonus- we got really close to whales, bald eagles and salmon jumping!"

"Love Kim and Chatum! They hosted an awesome fishing excursion! My brother and I caught 18 Halibut between the two of us and had bonus sitings of a breeching humpback whale and a brown bear cruising the shoreline! My only regret is that I forgot to buy a souvenir sweatshirt but looking on the website now."

"Fantastic day fishing with Herm. Quick 20 boat ride to the fishing grounds. I caught the biggest halibut of the day; maybe 45-50 lbs. Herm was always there to help bait our hooks and give some great fishing technique advice to help us all hook fish. Everyone on our trip (6 of us) caught a halibut. Highly recommend. Shipping your fish home is VERY expensive. Close to $37 a lb to San Diego."

"Had an amazing time! Never had fished before and had a great experience. Even shipped some back home to eat! The boat was nice and had an interior part as well. Easy to find the van from the cruise terminal with very descriptive pictures/instructions. I definitely recommend to get fishing license sorted out before hand, our group was a bit unprepared but Herm helped us out a ton to be able to get our licenses and get out on the boat. we even saw whales and sea otters too. Would definitely do again!!"
