"The staff was the highlight of the stay. More about that in a moment. The hotel was very clean and appeared to be relatively new. The breakfast was standard fare for hotels that provide breakfast – eggs, sausage, pastries, bagels, yogurt, cold cereals, pancakes, fruit, etc. The setting of the hotel was postcard worthy. It is set on the Henry Fork with beautiful views of the river and wildlife. Now for the best part, the staff. We experienced a record snow fall during our stay and everyone and I mean everyone was helpful, patient and pleasant during our stay. Sam, the front desk manager assisted with the controlled chaos during the snowstorm from helping people park, checking in frustrated patrons to directing people to food options during the storm. Heather, the front desk clerk helped us (and everyone else) check in and check out with a smile and information about food options and facilities. And Skyler who is on the maintenance team drove 4 hours to bring needed snow removal equipment and single handedly cleared the parking lot when all of the snow removal equipment on site was broken. And last but certainly not least is Chris the overnight clerk. We had an early appointment to tour into Yellowstone and had to depart the hotel before breakfast was available. He put together a breakfast of bagels, pastries and yogurt for us to take with us the morning of the tour. I could not have asked for better service from the staff – well done!"
"We were driving to Big Sky and the road closed right in front of us in Island Park. Luckily we had just passed the Springhill Suites and turned around. They had a room for us at a pretty good rate and it was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was more than we hoped for, and we got back on the road. Thanks for a restful one night stay!"
"Rooms were comfortable and clean and very well maintained. The on-site breakfast was outstanding - loads of fresh fruit and great variety of different cold and hot food every day. LOVED the location outside of Yellowstone and sitting on the river. It was wonderful to be out of the crowds of Yellowstone and it was quiet and pretty scenery. Sitting on the patio by the river for breakfast and at night after hiking all day was a treat. The short drive to the park was beautiful and gives you easy access to the town of West Yellowstone. Had a wonderful experience here at SpringHill Suites!! Nearby Earthquake Lake was a hidden gem - don't miss it."
"Exceptional all around. We got to stay here for 2 nights to see our friend's wedding. Very quiet atmosphere and seculated. We stayed during the week day, so there was barely anyone around. We ended up having the entire pool and hot spring to ourselves at night. Absolutely fabulous experience, especially since it was our first time as a family sitting in a hot spring. We loved that the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast every morning as well!! The room is spectacular, clean, luxurious and the workers are very kind to us and more than accommodating. They went above and beyond to get me what I needed when I had a question. This is a great option for those solo traveling our small families that want to be away from the city and need a nice place to relax and unwind. Thank you Elizabeth and staff for such a wondering stay."
"We stayed here 10/27-10/28 for the closeness to West Yellowstone. It’s a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. I love the view from our hotel room. The indoor pool was chilly, but that didn’t stop my son from enjoying himself. I personally loved the outdoor hot tub. It snowed while I was enjoying it. The view was incredible. The breakfast was pretty good too, minus the eggs. The pizza next door was delicious and my son loved their ice cream. My only complaint is I asked multiple times for them to restock the pool towels and they never brought them out so we had to drip dry before heading back to our room. The girl working the front desk seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She acted like she didn’t want to talk to me when I asked questions about the status of the roads to enter Yellowstone."
