"June 2022: Our family did the Lakes and Gravel Trails day trip, and we had a great time! Joe and Damara took care of everything, and all we had to do was show up and have fun. Joe made sure that the trails we rode were appropriate for my kids. And while we were out riding he made sure to check regularly that the kids were doing alright. (For reference, my daughter is 9 and my son is 8.) They were also more than happy to take pictures of us as we were out on the trails, so now we've got great pictures to remember our trail ride. After hitting the trails for just over 2 hours we loaded-up the shuttle and made the quick drive down to Seeley Lake for lunch. The sandwiches from Doc's that we had were legit. We're from Houston, and it was great to be able to chat with locals that live in Missoula to learn more about the area and get a feel for what western Montana is like. Joe and Damara are great company! Unfortunately for us the weather was in the low to mid-60's when we did our ride, so it was too cold to swim in the lake. My kids were really looking forward to a swim...but it just wasn't in the cards today and there's nothing Joe can do about the weather. I can only imagine how good it feels to jump into the lake after hitting the trails for a couple hours in the hot summer sun! Instead of swimming we relaxed by the lake for a bit and my kids skipped stones before we headed back to Missoula. Would highly recommend this tour. If you have kids and are looking for something exciting to do on your trip to Missoula, put this at the top of your list. If you don't have kids and are looking for something exciting to do you should do this tour. Joe will make sure that the trails you ride are age-appropriate for the group."
