"Was eatting fish and chips for the first time here. The fries were cold and the fish was hot. I only ordered 1 beer and didn't even drink half of it and when I got the bill, I was charged for two. There bar staff is helping all the customers instead of there own and not paying attention to what is going on. Pretty disappointing."

"Going down hill. They used to have good food and alright service. The person on the phone made us repeat everything twice. The wrap looks like it has a slice taken out of the middle they must have took as a snack. We used to eat here often now I don’t think we will be coming back. I get the wrap every time this time it was significantly smaller and cold inside. Half of the wrap was literally 2 bites."

"We rented a car and explored Juneau, and came upon this little hole in the wall. The proprietor immediately welcomed us, and got us drinks. We ordered fish and chips and clam strips, and everything was outstanding! Loved the friendly and fun host, locals, and interesting conversations at the bar. We highly recommend this for a drink or lunch!"

"Very tasty food. Particularly enjoyed the fish and chips. The halibut fish was delightful and the chowder was very good as well. Only non-positive experience was the wait. They only had 2-3 people (including the bartender) working during the lunch rush and we waited nearly 35min+ for our food."

"Sailed in on a cruise and wanted to have some local halibut fish and chips. Spoke to a long time local who recommended the Sandbar over the usual suggestions for tourists by the cruise docks. We were warned that it’s bit of a dive bar but that was exactly the experience we were looking for. Service was good and the halibut amazing. Dint be fooled by its rough interior or exterior, you are there for the fish."
